ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has clarified his statement on Kashmiris saying that accession to Pakistan is part of the Kashmiris political faith.
Dismissing the media report regarding Kashmir’s annexation, AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider said that he cannot think of AJK’s separation from Pakistan while condemning the fallacious report published in a newspaper.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the AJK premier said his last day statement was distorted. “Our hearts beat with Pakistanis and I will still stand behind my words,†he said.
Haider said his entire presser was about the Supreme Court’s verdict with regard to the premier’s disqualification. “I condemn the fallacious impression was given with regard to my statement and the way it was presented,†he added.
He said the video of his press conference is available which shows his statement has been distorted in the report. “The future of Kashmiris is linked with Pakistan’s prosperity,†Haider asserted.
Declaring the report a conspiracy against the people of Kashmir and Pakistan, he said that Kashmiris support Pakistan.
Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan condemned the statment and heading published in a newspaper. He expressed it as an unethical journalistic approach published by an urdu and english newspaper respectively on national security issue.
PM AJK said,” Kashmiris cannot think anything else except their affiliation with Pakistan, our future is related with Pakistan”
Raja Farooq Haider Khan said,” It is my right to express my concerns on unprecedented political instability in Pakistan, we (Kashmiris) are struggling for our liberation from India and annexation with Pakistan.”
