Kashmiris fighting war of the completion of Pakistan: Masood Khan

Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Terming Kashmir and Pakistan as an inseparable entity, the president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Ahmed Khan has said that the people of occupied Kashmir over the past 70 years have been fighting the war of completion of Pakistan.

The AJK president said this while talking to PML-N legislator Tahir Iqbal Chudhary here on Friday. He said that no power on earth can keep people of Kashmir and Pakistan apart from each other. Sardar Masood Ahmed Khan said that in presence of over half a million Indian occupation troops Kashmiris celebrate the victory of Pakistani team and bury their martyrs in Pakistani flags, which he said amply demonstrates their unconditional love for Pakistan.
The president while welcoming the guest said that some parts of the liberated territory were more fascinating and beautiful than the tourist resorts of Europe and Switzerland. He said that incumbent government was committed to promote tourism in the region saying that the government has prepared a grand plan to connect all the tourist spots through a tourism corridor. Under this plan the AJK president told the visiting guest that besides building parks and other tourism facilities, roads of international standard were being built to have an easy access to these tourist sights.

Speaking on the occasion the PML-N leader from Vehari [Punjab] Mr. Tahir Iqbal Chudhary said that the people of Pakistan have a great attachment for Kashmir and the Kashmiri people. Referring to freedom movement in Kashmir he said that since the martyrdom of Burhan Muzaffar Wani the freedom struggle against Indian occupation has taken a new direction. He expressed the optimism that the day was not far when long running dispute would be settled in line with the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people. He told the president that a sizable number of Kashmiri who came from different areas of Azad Kashmir were now settled in Vehari and its adjacent villages. He said that he was greatly inspired by the region’s natural beauty.
