Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Cantonment Board has decided to launch an operation against illegal slaughterhouses in Rawalpindi.
According to media reports on the complaints that in several areas of Cantt, illegal slaughter houses are operating and selling unhygienic meat Chaklala Cantonment board has constituted special raiding team for launching an operation against these unlawful slaughter houses .
This special teams will conduct on the spot checking of these slaughter houses and if anyone is found guilty of violating rules then not only his shop will be sealed but also legal action will be initiated against him.
Chaklala Cantt administration have warned all butchers that they should make sure the process of slaughtering of their animals takes place in the slaughter house of Chaklala in order to avoid any legal proceedings because selling meat without stamp of Cant Board is illegal as per rules .
