Rawalpindi:(Parliament Time) Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) has severed 25 illegal water connection during operation in Rawalpindi city. According to media reports, director revenue WASA Chaudhry Muhammad Safdar said that in the first day of operation, 25 illegal connections were disconnected.
He further said that on directives of managing director WASA Raja Shaukat Mehmood Revenue Department has established special teams in east and west zones that are carrying out operation against illegal water connections in their respective zones and 25 illegal water connections have been disconnected in the area of Dhook Matkiaal in this regard so far.
