Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The AJK President Sardar Masood Khan, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and Information Minister Raja Mushtaq Minhas have paid eulogizing tributes to Shaheed Burhan Muzaffar Wani on his first martyrdom anniversary.
Pertinently, Wani who was martyred by Indian occupation forces during a â€œfake encounterâ€ last year in South Kashmirâ€™s Kokernag village was the most popular freedom fighter and pioneer of modern resistance movement in Occupied Kashmir.
In their separate messages on the first martyrdom anniversary of the Burhan Wani Sardar Masood Khan,Raja Farooq Haider and Raja Mushtaq Minhas said, â€œShaheed Burhan would always be alive in our heartsâ€. â€œHe is a role model for our youth. In his brief lifespan, he rendered immense contribution to the ongoing struggle. He would be an inspiration for generations to come,â€ they said.
AJ&K President while hailing the sacrifices of Burhan Wani said that his cherished sacrifices wonâ€™t go waste and will definitely lead us to our destiny. â€œWe feel for him but we are proud of his dedication and commitmentâ€, the president said.
Hailing the unparalleled services of Burhan Wani, AJK premier Raja Farooq Haider said that he will remain our hero for all times to come. He served as a beacon light and torch bearer for ongoing freedom movement. He said that youth in Occupied Kashmir have been sacrificing their lives for a sacred cause and we are indebted to them and obliged to carry their mission to its logical conclusion. â€œThe services rendered by commander Burhan will be written in golden letters. It is because of these martyrs that Kashmir came to lime light at international levelâ€. The Prime Minister said the people of Kashmir would take the ongoing movement to its logical end.
While saluting these martyrs the information minister Mushtaq Minhas said that they are real heroes who sacrificed their lives for Kashmir cause. Kashmiri people are indebted to these heroes and wonâ€™t allow their sacrifices go waste and would take their noble mission to the logical conclusion.
He said, â€œNation salutes Burhan and will remember him alwaysâ€. â€œHis [Burhanâ€™s] Contribution and role would be written in golden letters in the history of Kashmir. Burhan was a Hero of millions of Kashmiris and an icon of armed struggle in Occupied Kashmir.
