Authorities impose restrictions to prevent anti-India demos
Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities have imposed restrictions in Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir Valley to prevent people from staging demonstrations against the killing of youth by Indian troops in Rangreth and Arwani areas.
The authorities have made heavy deployment of Indian police and troops in all major towns to prevent the demonstrations.
Train services between Baramulla and Bannihal towns have been suspended. Internet services across the Kashmir Valley were already suspended. Kashmir University has postponed the exams scheduled for today.
Meanwhile, complete shutdown is being observed in the occupied territory against the killing of youth by the troops. Call for the shutdown has been given by the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. All shops, business establishments and educational institutions are closed while traffic is off the road.
It is to mention here that six youth have been killed and scores others injured in the brutal actions of the troops in Rangreth, Arwani and other areas of the occupied territory since Thursday evening.
