Mirpur (AJK): (Parliament Times) Mirpur police last night succeeded in netting one Ahmed Subhani Beig, the most-wanted accused of using highly abusive language against the AJK government, judiciary, politicians and the officials of Mirpur division and district police and the administration especially targeting the senior police officers, it was officially declared.
According to an official statement, the New City Police succeeded in arresting the absconding accused Ahmed Subhani Beig, resident of New Mirpur city, from Sector G/1, while he was found roaming in the town for a brief stop over late Saturday night.
The accused was wanted to the local police since he started bringing posts on his face book wall containing very insulting filthy and threatening remarks containing severely abusive language against the AJK government, judiciary, local MLA (sitting Minister), administration and the police officers for his self-carved negative assumptions and calculations and about the AJK judiciary, executive, politicians, administration especially Mirpur police.
The arrested accused was also found badly involved in displaying the posts on his FB wall comprising the character assassination of certain local politicians including the sitting MLA, judiciary and the civil administration including the police for about past one month.
“The New City police has registered case against the accused under sections 124-A, 500, 501 and 506 AK PC, 25 Telegraph act and 16-MPO (Maintainance of Public Order)â€, the hand out said adding police have started further investigations to net the accomplices and facilitators of the arrested accused involved in the ugly use of the social media through such immoral and unlawful practice.
Meanwhile, when contacted by this Correspondent, SSP Mirpur Raja Irfan Salim confirmed the arrest of the most-wanted accused on the charges of using highly derogatory remarks against the judiciary and the government of AJK besides political elders, Mirpur administration and the police through his various posts on his (the accused) face book wall since past many weeks. “Further investigations are in progressâ€, he added.
