Geneva: A high level delegation of Kashmiri leaders and human rights activists headed by veteran Kashmiri liberation leader Altaf Hussain Wani arrived here on Tuesday to attend the 35th session of United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) scheduled to take place from 6th to 23rd June.
During their stay at Geneva the Kashmiri leaders besides attending the UNHRC session would also meet UN officials, diplomats of various countries and members of international human rights watch dogs to apprise them of the prevailing human rights situation in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Kashmiri delegation would hold seminars, photo exhibition and protest demonstration in Geneva to create more awareness about the sufferings of people of Kashmir and to expose Indian naked aggression and blatant violations of international human rights standards.
The other members of the delegation included Syed Faiz Naqashbandi, Sardar Amjad Yousaf Khan, Mrs Shamim Shawl, Hassan Bana , Ms Shugafta Ashraf , Ahmed Qurashie and advocate Parveez Shah
