Rawalpindi: The Punjab Government has abolished 4515 seats of district teachers across the province including 134 in Rawalpindi Division.
The Punjab Education Department has directed the authorities to appoint 134 district teachers in primary, middle, and high schools located in Rawalpindi Division. The district teachers were appointed across the province to maintain check and balance in primary, middle and high schools located in province. The district teachers were deployed in imparting training to primary teachers besides conducting monthly tests of the students.
Overall, 4515 district teachers, data Entry operators, Naib-Qasids and driver seats have been abolished across the province.
The provincial education Department has also sought appointment detail within seven days from the district education authorities regarding the appointments made and directed them to forward the report Provincial Secretary Schools Education.
