Muzaffarabad: The Information Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has said that the settlement of Dawn-Leaks issue reflected the political foresightedness, sagacity and wisdom of both political and military leadership of Pakistan saying that the decision would go a long way to ensure supremacy rule of law and constitution in the country.Talking to reporters here on Thursday the information minister said that the amicable solution of the issue (Dawn Leaks) has a historical importance for the country. “Whatever decisions were taken out speak volumes about the institutional maturity; sagacity and shrewdness of Prime Minster as well as the military leadership of the countryâ€. Minhas said that nation was fed up with ‘anti-democracy’ forces and won’t pay any head to their bellyaching.Urging the electronic media to realize its responsibilities the AJK minister said that rather dividing nation the electronic media should try to create unanimity and concurrence within the different segments of society. He said that instead of raising pity issues the electronic media should help out the government of AJK in projecting Kashmiri cause and the plight of Kashmiri people at international level.“Rather than getting nation entangled in Panama and other non issues the electronic media should at least take some time to highlight Indian atrocities in IHK and Indian forces firing and shelling on the LoC and tell the world how India was violating human rights by targeting innocent civiliansâ€, the minister said. Regarding the development of Azad Kashmir Minhas said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan was taking keen interest in the development of the region.
