International Kashmir Lobby Group holds Kashmir conference in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: International Kashmir Lobby Group in-collaboration with the Department of Politics & IR, International Islamic University Islamabad organized a Conference, titled “Revival of Kashmir Conflict in Politics of Pakistan” at Allama Iqbal Auditorium, IIU Islamabad.Speakers included Ali Muhammad Khan-Member National Assembly Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Ayesha Saeed-Member National Assembly Jamaat-e-Islami, Sehrish Qamar-Member Legislative Assembly Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khan-National Defense University, Abdul Hameed Lone-Leader All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Dr. Manzoor Khan Afridi-Head of Politics & IR Department IIUI, while Kashmiri-born YFK Lobbyist Shaista Safi moderated the conference.Speakers highlighted the affiliation Pakistan has with Kashmir and commitment of people of Kashmir with the ideology of Pakistan. They analyzed the post-Burhan Wani martyrdom situation in Indian-occupied Kashmir and observed that India was losing Kashmir. Speakers emphasized on reviving Kashmir conflict in Pakistan politics. YFK & students pledge to keep pushing and reminding Kashmir conflict to the politicians by organizing such conferences.
It may be recalled here that Youth Forum For Kashmir (YFK) is Pakistan’s first pro-Kashmir, registered and nonpartisan International lobbying group led by young Kashmiris and Pakistanis working to ensure justice to Kashmiris living under Indian-military occupation.
