ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) President Mamnoon Hussain has expressed the hope that uniform curriculum would soon be introduced throughout the country.
He was talking to a delegation of Tanzeem-e-Asateza Pakistan, headed by its President Prof. Mian Muhammad Akram, in Islamabad on Monday.
The President said that Ministry of Professional Education and Professional Training is endeavoring to formulate new educational curriculum in line with modern requirements in consultation with all stakeholders.
He pointed out that it will help promote of harmony, fraternity and brotherhood in the society to attain collective development.
He urged the teachers to play their part in checking sectarian differences and parochialism in educational institutions.
The President said that policies of the government are in the right direction for improving the standard of education.
He apprised that Urdu as an official language has been completely enforced at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
