BBS Medical College announces final-year result of its first batch

MIRPUR (AJK):(Parliament Times) The much-awaited result of the final-year examination of the first batch of the state-run Mohterma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Medical College Mirpur was announced here on Friday, it was officially announced.

A total of 94 candidates appeared in the examination – of which 87 were declared successful. The overall result remained 95 percent. The successful candidates included 53 girls and 34 boys. The unsuccessful candidates included five declared failed and one remained absent from the exam. Similarly the result of one of them was declared later on.
The top 10-position holding candidates included Basit Javed Malik, Adnan Sharif, Naveed Kamal, Tanzeel Ahmed and Kamal Ahmed. Similarly, among the top 10 successful girl candidates included Faiza Shahnawaz, Misbah Salim, Manza Mudassar, Ruqayaa Nazir, Nuzhat Fatima, Rabia Aslam and Sidra Younis.

It may be recalled here that the MBBS College Mirpur is affiliated to the public-sector Azad Jammu & Kashmir University which announced the result after a reported delay of over four months as against the set schedule. The successful candidates included 74 from Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan-based J & K refugees, the only girl student from occupied Srinagar, 4 from Gilgit/Baltistan, 4 from KPK, 2 from Punjab, One from Sind and one from FATA.
