Sangla Hill: Because of loose 11-KV wire passing over the wheat fields has burnt more than 25 acres wheat Crop of the poor farmers as the wire breaks and fell down at 2.00 am night.
According to the sources, farmers of village 115/RB Titranwala Sangla Hill reminded the linemen GESCO sub division Sukheki, Hafizabad to change the wire dangerous for precious lives but no attention and care was taken.
This negligence act of Sukheki sub division
deprived the poor farmers from ripped wheat crop.
Accoding to the details, 11-KV wire passes over the fields, which needs repairing and changeable from certain sites.
Last years this weak wire fell down and killed two cattle on the spot.
This year, despite reminding to the relevant office no action to save the life and property came into action. When the ripped wheat crop fields caught fire and this
sea of fire began to move towards the village, the people became afraid of with hue and cry.
Police station , 1122 Sangla Hill and Fire Brigades Shahkot reached out at the fire burning site to control the dangerous condition.
The effected farmers, Mahmood Arshad, Rana Sarwar, Rana Tahir, Amir Iqbal, Munawar Hussain. Naeem Ahmad and Social Worker leader Muhammad Yaqoob Batalvi have appealed to the PM Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Minister Ch.Muhammad Barjees Tahir to accommodate the affected farmers and disciplinary action must be taken against the responsible officers of WAPDA, sub division Sukheki district Hafizabad, farmers said in their agitation today.
