AJK Tourism Department plans grand events to mark Pakistan Day: Mansoor Qadir Dar

Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) AJK Secretary for Information, Tourism and IT, Mansoor Qadir Dar has said that AJK government occasionally organize different activities to promote adventure tourism and to provide leisure time opportunities to the people. In a statement issued here on Friday he said that a grand adventure gala is being organized from March 23 to March 25 in Muzaffarabad. Paragliding, motor gliding, aero modeling and local game ‘Gatka Baazi’ would feature the event to be held at airport near Muzaffarabad. He said that River Rafting would also be organized from Neelum View Hotel to Thoori Park in Muzaffarabad as a part of Pakistan Day celebrations. The secretary said that the events being organized in connection with Pakistan Day are of great significance. He said that information department of AJK government, Azad Jammu Kashmir radio Muzaffarabad, AJK television center Muzaffarabad and PTV News bureau would made special arrangements for the appropriate coverage of the events. Mansoor Qadir Dar further said that AJK has great potential for tourism and the government is taking important decision for the development of this sector.
