    AJK PM, Information Minister condemn India firing in Abbaspur Sector

    Islamabad: (Parliament Times) AJK Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan and Minister for Information Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas have strongly condemned the unprovoked firing by Indian forces from the across the line of Control on civil population of Azad Kashmir in Abbaspur Sector. In a joint statement issued here on Monday they said that Indian cannot suppress the spirit of freedom of the Kashmiri people through such cowardice acts. The prime Minister said that India out of sheer frustration is targeting unarmed civilian including children. They said that manner in which innocent human lives were targeted in Abbaspur sector by Indian forces is highly condemnable. He added that India is violating International law by targeting the non combatant population residing along the line of control and appeal to the international community to take serious notice of Indian provocation at Line of Control. He warned that such provocative acts could lead to war between India and Pakistan. The Prime Minister also urged United Nations to send its militarily observers in the area to document the violation of ceasefire by Indian forces. The Information Minister Mushtaq Minhas strongly condemned the Indian firing that resulted into injuries to the three civilian of AJK including a teenage girl. The Minister called upon the international community to take notice of unprovoked shelling on civilian population from across the Line of Control by Indian forces. He said Kashmiris are offering unprecedented sacrifices to free their motherland from Indian clutches. The Minister said India is trying to divert world’s attention from Kashmir dispute by carrying out unprovoked firing at the LoC
