    Over 6 million distributed among the participants of essay writing competition

    Faisalabad: A prize distribution ceremony of students of different technical institutions was held at Pasban Technical Training Center in connection with essay writing competition in which 6.2 million were distributed among participants. Brig. R. Abdul Aziz was chief guest on this occasion and Chairman Pasban Group Maj. R. Shahnawazul Hassan was also accompanied with him. Addressing to the ceremony Brig. R. Abdul Aziz said imparting of technical education to the country’s youth was imperative and the need of the hour as we could overcome our economic problems and end unemployment after producing the skilled workers. He appreciated to arrange essay writing competition and said under the commendable leadership of Maj. R. Shahnawazul Hassan the technical training institute has been working very hard. He gave some suggestions and said car mechanic, Chinese language and other courses would have to start while syllabus should be compare with other developed countries so that technical education could be promoted. Maj. R. Shahnawaz thanked the Brig. R. Abdul Aziz to participate ceremony and brief the objectives of holding essay writing competition. He highlighted the performance of Pasban Technical Training Center and said more than 3 thousand students have completed their courses of Microsoft, Electrician, solar technology, computer hardware, Refrigeration & Air conditioning, Mobile repairing, Motorcycle repairing etc and they are now attached with institutions for earning their livelihood. He told that annual budget of this center has been increased from 30 million. Maj. R. Shahnawazul Hassan said toolkits were also provided to the students for prepare job. He assured the Brig. R. to add more courses for promoting technical education. He also congratulated the students who were participated in the essay writing competition. Later the position holders of essay writing were distributed prizes and Asrar ul Haq Javed of GHS 229 RB Makuana Jaranwala road declared winner and got 20 thousand prize while M Usman and Rashid Ghuman got 2nd and 3rd position and received Rs.15 and 10 thousands respectively and position holders of 4th to 12th were also received different amount of prizes.
