ISLAMABAD :(Parliament Times) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has on Friday submitted an initial inquiry report to the federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar in connection to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) spot-fixing scandal.

It has been revealed in the report that certain messages were deleted from the cell phones of the allegedly involved players and the matter has also been investigated as well.

Meanwhile, the Federal Investigation Agency is also trying to find out as to how the players and the bookies got into contact and as to what was discussed between them.

Moreover, it has also been revealed that the information provided by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the forensic analysis of the current information would also be taken into consideration.

Meanwhile, The Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar professed that the matter doesn’t pertain to the personal deeds of certain cricketers or corruption but to the dignity of the country.

He let it be known that FIA should take the matter to its due end without bothering about any external pressure.
