ECO SUMMIT TO ENSURE ENHANCEMENT OF TRADE AMONG MEMBER STATES: PRESIDENT

ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) President Mamnoon Hussain has said that summit of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) was aimed at establishing the mechanism of connectivity among the member countries.

Talking to the delegation of ECO Chamber of Commerce in Islamabad on Friday, the president said that the Summit will ensure the enhancement of trade among the member states.

The President said that trade exhibition should be organized to enhance the trade and to promote the products of member states in the region.

Secretary General ECO Halil Ibrahim said that the region possesses huge natural resources and it should be used for the development and prosperity of the people of the region.
