Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has directed Law Minister Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan to visit Rawalakot and hold talks with lawyer community to end their strike. This was stated by President AJK High Court Bar Association Raja Iqbal Rashid Minhas after meeting with Prime Minister here on Sunday. The President High Court Bar Association took up the issue of lawyers’ strike in Rawalakot with Prime and Prime and said Prime Minister was aware of the strike and now is sending Law Minister to sort this issue out by negotiating with striking lawyers. The President High Court expressed his profound gratitude to Prime Minister for giving him patient hearing and said Prime Minister told him that FIR against prominent lawyers has already been quashed and Deputy Superintendent Police of Rawalakot has been transferred. The government is also investigating into the matter of registration of case against the lawyer to take action against others involved in it.
Raja Iqbal Rashid Minhas said that lawyer community of Muzaffarabad and other parts of Azad Kashmir are firmly stood with the lawyers of Rawalakot.
