Lahore: Jamaat ud Dawa (JuD) Pakistan held a demonstration at Choburji Chowk to protest the recent ruthless incidents of terror attacks in different parts of Pakistan. Thousands of people from all walks of life participated in protest and expressed their grief and anger over the loss of lives in terrorist acts. The participants carrying placards inscribed with slogans against India raised vociferous against the government against its failure to protect lives and properties of the people. They also voiced against Hafiz Saeed’s detention and demanded his immediate release.
“Today our homeland is bleeding as eight terrorist attacks have been carried out in just five days. We believe that India behind these terrorist act as she want to punish Pakistan for morally supporting Kashmiris†said JuD leader Hafiz Abdul Rehman Makki while addressing the protesters.
Hafiz Makki urged the nation to unite against the menace of terrorism and demanded the government to revisit its policy towards India. Besides condemning Indian role in terrorism, Prof Makki also rebuked India for depriving Pakistan of its river water and ruthless mass killings of Kashmiris with over eight lac troops and imposing inhuman draconian laws. It was no more a secret that India, Prof Makki said, was set out to destabilize Pakistan through its covert intelligence network in Pakistan as it did to dismember East Pakistan.
“India’s backing of violence and destructive activities in Pakistan are to sabotage Pakistan’s peace and security and it is direst need of the hour to reply India in the same coin, added Chairman Nazriya Pakistan Raabita Council, Qari Yaqoob Sheikh.
Head JuD Lahore, Abul Hashim Rabbani, Sheikh Naeem Badshah, Jameel Ahmad Faizee Advocate, Moulana Idrees Farouqi and others also addressed the protesters
