Bangalore: India beat Pakistan by 9 wickets to win the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup in Bangalore on Sunday.

The hosts, chasing 198, achieved the target with loss of just one wicket.

For Pakistan, Badar Munir top scored with 57 runs, while Mohammad Jamil and Amir Ashfaq scored 24 and 20, respectively.

Pakistan, who had been unbeaten in the tournament until today, had thrashed England by 147 runs in the semifinals, setting up a final date with archrivals India in the final.

Badar Munir and Israr Hassan had shone with the bat against England. Both had made tons and piled up 226 runs for the first-wicket partnership.
