Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Â Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Chaudhry Barjees Tahir has condemned the Indian plan of changing the demography of the Occupied Kashmir.
Talking to Acting Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Tariq Farooq in Islamabad, he said Indian forces are committing atrocities on the innocent Kashmiris, but they cannot stop suppress their freedom struggle by coercive means. The Minister assured that Pakistan will continue its moral, political, and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir in their just struggle of achieving right to self-determination. He also assured full cooperation of the Federal Government in development of Azad Kashmir.
Earlier talking to newsmen at Islamabad Press Club he said India has no moral or legal case on Kashmir and that’s why it always avoided talk on the issue with Pakistan. He said Indian has been accusing Pakistan of interference in Occupied Kashmir and violating LoC to divert attention from its oppressive measures in the held valley.
He said India has utterly failed to control the agitation movement launched by people of Kashmir after the martyrdom of Bhrhan Muzaffar Wani. Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir congratulated the management of Daily Jammu and Kashmir on its eleventh anniversary and the newspapers always upheld the principles of journalism by reporting the issues of public interests with utmost responsibility.
