QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Â Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has said the administrative machinery is fully ready to cope with any type of extra ordinary situation to be emerged as a result of snowfall and rains in any part of the province.
In a statement, Nawab Zehri said that he is personally monitoring the entire situation.
The Chief Minister has instructed the provincial Chief Secretary and Inspector General of Police to depute extra police and levies personnel and enhance their patrol in affected areas.
He has also instructed the provincial Disaster Management Authority to immediately set up rescue centers in Lak Pass, Bolan Pass, Kozak Top, Kan Metharzai and other affected areas. He has also advised the concerned officials to make arrangements for provision of edible items, milk, water and blankets to the stranded people.
Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has also urged the people of Balochistan to pay thanks to Allah Almighty for ending the drought and blessing them with the snowfall and rains after a long lull of time.
