Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan held a meeting with the federal minister for Planning & Development and Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Ahsan Iqbal here on Sunday.
During the meeting ongoing development projects in AJK, inclusion of AJK in CPEC, implementation on the projects approved by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his last visit to Muzaffarabad were came under discussion. Prime Minster Farooq Haider said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was taking keen interest in development of AJK and his team was fully involved in realising the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif into reality in Azad Kashmir,Farooq Haider said.
Federal Minister expressed his hope after inclusion in CPEC AJK would see new era of prosperity. Development in AJK is one of the top priority of Muslim League (N)’s government as people of Azad Kashmir gave full mandate to our Party in general election,he said.
Meanwhile a Muslim League (N) delegation from Ponch led by member Jammu and Kashmir Council Abdul Khaliq Wassi and ex minister Sardar Siab Khalid called on Prime Minister here at Kashmir House on Sunday.
While talking to delegation the Prime Minister said that development should be sighted on ground.Local Bodies Elections are going to be held in few months,he asked PML worker to complete preparation for upcoming local elections,he said. The Prime Minster said that in five districts the Family courts has been set up and further courts would also be setup in others districts.
