PTI has failed to prove Maryam Nawaz as PM’s dependant: Talal Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD : (Parliament Times)  Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhry on Friday has expressed determination to prove Maryam Nawaz as trusty of offshore companies, not beneficial owner.

Talking to media outside Supreme Court (SC), Talal Chaudhry said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is forcefully linking Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s name with the case.

He said PTI is continuously telling lies in the court and misleading the judges. He said PTI members were bashing trust deed before and now they have suddenly accepted it.

On the other hand, SC has adjourned the Panama Leaks case hearing till Monday.

During the hearing, PTI’s lawyer Naeem Bokhari has assured the court to complete argument on the case in next proceeding.

Justice Azmat remarked that it’s the responsibility of Sharif’s family to tell from where the money for London flats came.

He said the court will be compelled to follow Naeem Bokhari if PML-N fails to submit proper documents.

Earlier today, PM Nawaz’s daughter Maryam Nawaz submitted reply in SC and denied accusations of being beneficial owner of offshore companies and flats but an authorized signatory as per trust deed.
