Islamabad:Â (Parliament Times) Ulema and Mushaikh of different schools of thoughts accused AJK government headed by Raja Farooq Haider Khan of imposing secular agenda in the name of reforms. in a joint statement issued by JUI leader, Moulana Imtiaz Ahmed Abbasi, Moulana Atta-ur-Rehman, Moulana Iftikhar Ahmed, Moulana Qari Najeebullah Jandalvi, Spokesperson Nairian Sharif, Allama Sultanul Arifeen, Chairman Tehreek Khtam-e- Nabovot, Moulna Waheed Qasmi, Jammat Islami leader, Qazi Shahid Hamid, Alhadith Senior Naib Amir, Moulana Attiq-ur- Rehman Shah said that AJK government has finalized a plan to merge Shariat Court into High Court and stopping the induction of Muftis in the judiciary and capping the promotions of Arabic language teachers. They expressed their resolve that Ulema would strongly resist the decision of government and will not allow it impose anti Islam agenda on the Muslims of Azad Kashmir in the name of reforms. The said Islamic institutions like Shariat Courts and Tajveedul Quran Trust have been setup under the protection of constitutions and accused that AJK government on behest of anti Islam forces made a plan to make AJK a secular state. The Ulema appealed to the prayers leaders and religion loving people of Azad Kashmir to raise their voice against the government’s plan in Juma prayers.
