Islamabad:(Parliament Times)  Chairman Green Task Force Doctor Jamal Nasir has said that observing 16 December is basically to pay tribute to the martyrs and convey message to those atrocious that “we will stand, we will fight and we will win the war.†This is a clear message to the propagators that they can’t suppress us with such heinous acts rather these blatant incidents has made us more determined to join hand with our forces to nip this evil in the bud and play our due part in bringing peace to our motherland.
He expressed these views while addressing participants of a seminar organized by Directorate of Public Relations, Rawalpindi in connection with APS martyrs memory Kashaana Rawalpindi. Other eminent guests included Narjis Zaidi renowned writer and scholar, Member Provincial Assembly Lubna Rehan, president Aukhwat Sana Ullah, District Officer Social welfare, Director Public Relations Hamid Javed and a large number of teachers and students of Kashana home.
While expressing her views, MPA Lubna Rehan has said that created by sectarian and religious extremism have made the world a vulnerable place to live in. Though terrorism is a global issue but Pakistan is bearing its burnt the most. Pakistan surely is facing war like situation not only at borders but also internally. However, ray of hope is that the APS incident has brought all the forces in one page and made them take some bold steps to play their key role in the war on terror and using all its means to combat menace of terrorism. Fortunately our politicians, general masses and security forces are now showing a strong sense of unity to fight terrorism. And it is the result of this resolution that terrorists’ activities has been minimized to much lower level. At the end of seminar a walk was also arranged to show solidarity with the bereaved families of APS incidents victims and Duaa was offered for the departed souls.
