JKSM chairman Zafar released from Jail in Srinagar

Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times)  Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Bhatt has been released on Friday on parole. According to Senior Vice Chairman of the party Altaf Bhatt Zafar was arrested on July 2016 and kept imprison in different places including Special Operation Group Camp at Pakherpora, Chari Sharief Police Station and Sadder Police Station. He was finally released on parole from Rajbagh Police Station on the demise of his close relative Fatima, Altaf said.

Zaffar during 6 months long imprisonment released on bail and re arrested thrice. Soon after his release on Friday, Zafar Akbar Bhat led Nimaz e Jinaza of Fatima and also paid tributes to Arwani Martyrs. Altaf said said Zafar Akbar Bhatt also addressed Fridaycongregation in Jamia Masjid Bagh e Mehtab and paid heartfelt tributes to those martyred during five months and expressed solidarity with affected families during this current uprising. Zafar condemned the brute force used by Indian forces against common people and said that not a single probe has been ordered by state or Delhi authorities over innocent killings. He also demands release of all detainees who are languished in different Jails and Police stations.
