AJK President advises students to pursue studies with dedication

Kotli: (Parliament Times) AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has urged students to pursue their studies with hard work, dedication and advised them never seek shortcut to their way to success. Addressing a Chief Guest at need based scholarship distribution ceremony of Higher Education Commission organized by Directorate of Financial Aid of University of Science and Information Technology Kotli, he said passion, exploration and competition are some of the characteristics that can help the students climbing up the ladder of success.

The President said that integrity is another fundamental trait that can take one to the desired success in life. He said basic reason of corruption, mismanagement and deprivation can be traced from our collective failure to build character of the members of our society. The President said he is quite glad to see discipline and enthusiasm of the students and wished that same should be reflected in studies and character of our students.

He said AJK government has set its priorities and freedom of Kashmir is on the top of priorities followed by good governance and development of liberated territory. The Kashmir runs in our blood, President emphasized and added without liberation of Kashmir of Kashmir we are incomplete as one party of our body is in the clutches of our enemy.

He said that all segments of our society will have to play their role for eradication of corruption, bribery, nepotism and other ills that have plagued our society. Earlier Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr Ghulam Ghous in his speech highlighted the performance of the university. The President distributed cheques of scholarships among the 66 students of the university.
