MC workers has ability to revive past glory of party: Sharif Abbasi

Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) President All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Italy Sardar Muhammad Sharif Khan Abbasi has urged ideological workers of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference to observe death anniversary of Raees-ul- Ahrar Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas with national fervor and renewed pledge on December 18to make the party founded by him more strong and invincible.

Talking to this scribe on phone, Mr. Sharif said that Muslim Conference is observing Raees-ul- Ahrar’s death anniversary at a time when India had made lives of Kashmiri people miserable and its forces are targeting civil population of Azad Kashmir from across the Line of Control with aggressive designs, it is very important to send a strong message across the LoC by forging a strong unity here in Azad Kashmir on the occasion of Raees-ul- Ahrar’s anniversary.

He said that Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas was the pioneer Kashmir leader who had not only given right direction to the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir but rendered tremendous sacrifices for the Muslim identity of Kashmir and Kashmir’s accession to Pakistan. He said that it was Muslim Conference, which adopted a historic resolution on July 19, 1947 in Srinagar, demanding accession of the state of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan in accordance with the partition plan and two- nation theory.

He said that after 1947, Muslim Conference was the only party in Azad Kashmir which has been striving hard to preserve the identity of the state while non- state parties compromised and still compromising on the vital interests of Kashmir for the petty interest of power.

Describing Muslim Conference, now headed by Sardar Attique Ahamed Khan as precious legacy of Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas and Mujahid-e- awal Sardar Muhammad Abdul Qayyum Khan, Sharif Abbasi called upon the Muslim Conference workers to carry forward the message and program of the party for better future of coming generations.

Reposing his unflinching confidence in the leadership of Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, Sharif Abbasi said Sardar Attique has matchless leadership qualities and only he can play a role for early success of Kashmir liberation movement. He further said that credit goes to Muslim Conference for strengthening the bond between Muslims of Kashmir and Pakistan and took revolutionary steps for the socio-economic development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The Muslim Conference Italy President expressed his regret that political parties remotely controlled from Pakistan have neither independent program nor vision for Kashmir liberation struggle. Their leaders even lack courage to take a strong stand for reinforcement of Kashmiri peoples struggle for their right to self determination. He further said workers of Muslim Conference are determined to revive the glorious past of the party once again.
