    Masood vows to expose Indian lies, negative propaganda at world forums

    Nakyal:(Parliament Times)  President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has vowed to raise Kashmir issue at every international forum and to expose Indian lies and negative propaganda with full force. Addressing affectees of Indian firing at Nakyal sector of Southern Kotli District on Monday, President said Kashmir issue is very much alive adding that India can kill unarmed Kashmiris but cannot stifle their voice for freedom. Terming resistance in Kashmir as peaceful, Sardar Masood Khan said India wants to decimate it with the bombs and bullets but Kashmiris are destined to achieve their destiny.

    Paying tributes to those who are braving booming guns and the bullets, AJK president assured the victims of Indian firing that government will never leave them alone to suffer.

    “You are our heroes, we feel your pain in our chest,” the president said pointing to the charged gathering in front of him. Terming the people living along the Line of Control as first defence line against Indian army and unpaid soldiers of our geographical frontiers, President Masood said it is our first and foremost responsibility to take care of them and we will do it.

    President said the very purpose of his visit to Nakyal was to meet our heroes and to visit to great son of this land and our most respectable elder Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan who supported me and always provided guidance.

    He said that the land Nakyal produced many gems like Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Krailvi, Sardar Saif Ali Khan and many others who served the people selflessly and with matchless dedication. He said that Kashmiris have been rendering supreme sacrifices for generations and expressed his hope that their sacrifices would soon crown with success. Sardar Masood that present government is determined to bring revolutionary changes in infrastructure, provide better governance by upholding the rule of law and restoring merit in all spheres of life.

    The public gathering was also addressed by former Minister, Sardar Naeem Khan, Minister Revenue Sardar Farooq Sikandar Khan and others. Earlier President was accorded rousing welcome on his arrival at Nakyal and was given guard of honour by a smartly turned contingent of police. The President also visited the residence of former AJK President and Prime Minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan and held a meeting with him which lasted for an hour.

    President Sardar Masood Khan was briefed about LoC situation and unprovoked Indian shelling from across the Line of Control by Commander 3- AK Brigade, Brigadier Rashid Saeed. The Commander Pak Army told the president that 21 civilian including women and children were martyred in Nakyal Sector by unprovoked Indian shelling. The Pakistan Army he said cannot fire indiscriminately because it is unethical and unprofessional to cause any harm to the unarmed population contrary to Indian army that deliberately targets civil population and even does not spare elderly people, women and children.
