    AJK PM directs to complete construction work on schools at earliest

    Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has directed the officials concerned to complete construction of educational institution at earliest and to ensure standard and transparency in all foreign funded projects being executed under reconstructed program in AJK.

    Addressing a high level meeting at Kashmir House the Prime Minister said due to negligence of successive governments completion of the projects of vital national interest kept lingering on and pace of development accelerated by the PML-N government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman ERRA, Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary (Development) and Secretaries of different departments.

    The Prime Minister said that Prime minister Nawaz Sharif has put the country on the path of sustainable development a nd added that now decision are taken on merit which would far reaching impacts on development process in the country. The Prime Minister expressed his profound gratitude to the international humanitarian community for generously helping the people of Azad Kashmir after the 2005 earthquake. He announced to build memorial at Muzaffarabad to pay tributes to the contribution of international humanitarian organizations, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan also paid glowing Tributes to Fedel Castro of Cuba for the extra-ordinary help extended by Cuban government and the people of Cuba in the wake of disastrous earthquake.

    Earlier Prime Minister was given briefing by the officials of ERRA and AJK government was told that development work continued in AJK on different projects under reconstruction program would be completed in specified time.
