PM visits ailing Governor Sindh at hospital


KARACHI: (Parliament Times)  Governor Sindh Justice retired Saeed uz Zaman Siddiqui has been ailing since assuming office and has been under treatment at a private hospital due to a chest infection and complaints of difficulty breathing.

After his initial hospitalization two days after taking oath as Governor Sindh, the governor house issued a statement playing down the health complications stating that the governor is not in danger and is only being kept under observation as a precaution.

According to sources wishing to remain anonymous, the Governor Sindh complained of shortness of breath and is being administered oxygen through an oxygen concentrator machine.

The source also claimed that the Governor Sindh’s lung has collapsed, though this claim has not been independently verified.

Due to the Governor’s ailing health the prime minister who is in town for the IDEAS military defence exhibition is expected to visit the Governor at the hospital.
