India governs Kashmir with draconian laws: Raja Farooq Haider


Brussels:(Parliament Times) AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has inaugurated a pictorial exhibition ‘The Paradise turned Hell’ at the Press Club Brussels, highlighting women and children who became victim to pellet guns and mass graves.

Exhibition was organized by the Kashmir Council Brussels and Members of European Parliament Sajjad Karim and Raja Afzal Khan of Friends of Kashmir Group in European Parliament. While talking to media at Brussels the Prime Minister said that the Indian security forces are attacking unarmed Kashmiris with pellet guns. He added that India was governing the occupied valley through a black law.

The prime minister added that India was trying to giving the legitimate struggle for freedom by Kashmiris the colour of terrorism. He said that India had again and again violated the Line of Control, however Pakistan was fully prepared to respond to any sort of aggression. He briefed since July this year over 115 Kashmiris have been martyred by Indian forces, while thousands have been injured.

Raja Farooq Haider called on the international community to play its role in putting an end to human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. He also called for implementation of UN resolutions to resolve the Kashmir dispute. To a question the Prime Minister dismissed the claims of the Indian of surgical strikes in AJK and said India has so far failed to provide any proof of any such strikes.
