Muzaffarabad:Â The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to convene All Parties Conference and take all the political forces into confidence in view of the fast changing situation in India-held Kashmir and unprovoked Indian shelling at Line of Control.
Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has already started consultation with the heads of different poltical parties to evolve a consensus on the issues relating to Kashmir liberation struggle and posaible Indian aggression at Line of control.
A spokesman of the Prime Minister told here on Sunday that the Raja Farooq Haider Khan’s meeting with former Prime Minister and Muslim Conference head, Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan at Mujahid Manzil Rawalpindi before leaving for Europe was part of the government’s decision. The All Parties Conference would be convened on the return of Prime Minister from Europe’s visit while he had assigned responsibilities of making arrangements for the conference to speaker Shah Ghulam Qadir and Minister for Law Raja Nisar Ahmed.
The spokesman added that Kashmir was the top priority of the Prime Minister and he wants to accelerate the efforts of highlighting the Indian atrocities and human rights abuses in the held valley by all means. “Our viewpoint is that ceasefire line is a bloody line which has never been accepted by the Kashmiris of both sides of the divide. The line was broken by Kashmiris in 1958 and 1990 however it was not rationale to break it now when India was already blaming Pakistan for cross border terrorism†said the spokesman.
The spokesman observed that India was engaged in organized propaganda against Kashmir liberation struggle with its heavy resources which needed to be countered. “We should not let our enemy take benefit of any of our mistakes. When Kashmir liberation struggle was gaining momentum at international level and international media was highlighting the Indian atrocities, India staged the drama of Uri incident†added the spokesman.
The spokesman said that on his return the Prime Minister would bring all political parties on one platform on Kashmir liberation struggle and intensify efforts to highlight the Indian oppressions and repressions in the IHK.
