AJK PM directs to observe strict financial discipline


Muzaffarabad: The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has directed to all government institutions to establish an effective financial discipline in their respective organizations.

Presiding over a meeting of Local Government and Rural Development Department in Muzaffarabad today he directed to adopt austerity measures to avoid any unnecessary expenditure.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that transparency and good governance would be ensured in District Corporation, Municipal Corporation and Town Committees.

He said that biometric system would be adopted to ensure the timely attendance of employees in government run institutions.

AJK Prime Minister assured that all genuine problems of Local Government and Rural Development Department would be addressed on priority.

Meanwhile Raja Farooq Haider Khan addressed at an open Katchery held at Prime Minister Secretariat and met people from different districts of AJK. The patiently heard problems being faced by the people and issued directives to the officials concerned on the spot.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister said addressing the problems living along the Line of Control is priority of his government. He said that Kashmir freedom movement, provision of good governance to the people of AJK and development of the liberated areas are priorities of his government in Azad Kashmir.
