Barjees asks Imran to give up politics of agitation


Nankana Sahib: Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan Affairs, Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir has strongly condemned Indian shelling from across the Line of Control.

Addressing at ceremony after inaugurating a newly constructed building of Girls Elementary School in the outskirts of Sangla Hill, he termed the Indian shelling on civilian population of AJK and targeting those living along the working boundary as cowardice act. He said India should stop playing with the fire by targeting unarmed civil population. The federal minister said that India has tried to hoodwink the international community by orchestrating Uri attack and surgical strikes but miserably failed later it tried to isolate Pakistan diplomatically at global level and now has started shelling from across the line of control on civil population of Azad Kashmir. He said that every individual of Pakistan is standing with armed forces of the country like a rock to defend frontiers of the country and to respond India in befitting manner. The minister Kashmir affairs urged the political parties of Pakistan to forged exemplary unity keeping in view the war threats from India. He said that it is highly unfortunate that on one hand India is shedding the blood of our people at LoC and working boundary and on the other hand PTI and its leader Imran Khan is destabilizing Pakistan. He warned Imran Khan to desist from creating problems for the people of Pakistan through his agitation politics and advised him respect the institution of the country by waiting decision of Supreme Court.
