AJK LA condemns Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir

Muzaffarabad: The AJK Legislative Assembly held its session in Muzaffarabad on Wednesday with Dy. Speaker Sardar Farooq Ahmed Tahir in the chair.

The house presented four legislative bills including The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Motor Vehicle amendment ordinance 2016, The Azad Kashmir Electrol Roll amendment ordinance 2016, The Azad Kashmir Overseas Commission Act 2016 and the Children Pleading of Labour Act 2016. It were referred to the concerned select committees.

The house also adopted unanimous resolutions. It condemned the Indian forces atrocities against people of Occupied Kashmir, violations of ceasefire line and working boundaries which provoke hostilities. The resolution appealed the world nations to prevail upon India to stop human rights abuses and follow the international laws in the held valley. It also lauded the address of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at UNGA and said it reflects the feelings of people of Occupied Kashmir.

Another resolution fully supported the ongoing Kashmir liberation struggle and condemned Indian oppressions and human rights abuses in Occupied Kashmir.

Another resolution expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of Chairman JKLF and demanded to allow wife of Yaseen Malik to travel to Occupied Kashmir for attending her ailing husband.
