Islamabad: Fashion industry of Pakistan has achieved tremendous successes at international forums by showing outstanding performances in different contests. This sector has adequate job opportunities for ladies belonging to both urban and rural areas.
This was stated by Deputy Mayor Metropolitan Islamabad Zeshan Naqvi while talking to a cultural ceremony held at Islamabad. The prominent figures of relating industrial sectors, notables attended the ceremony.
Mr. Zeeshan Naqvi said that women were excelling in all spheres and their contributions would help to open new avenues of jobs and business in Pakistan. Lubna Rehan MPA said that women population is more than half and their active participation in national development is vital for economic independence.
She also mentioned various initiatives of government for welfare of women. Member Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shaz Khan appreciated the devotion and dedication of women who had been rendering in different capacities by setting up their businesses despite of facing various hardships.
She said fashion industry has a lot of space for women and they can join this sector as a profession. MianYasin and others also spoke on the occasion. Later, models participated in catwalk.
