The pledge came during a meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Goa, India on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.
The two leaders also had an in-depth exchange of views on the Korean Peninsula situation and other global and regional issues of shared concern.
