Baloch was sitting in the passenger seat when the accident occurred in Karachiâ€™s DHA Phase VIII area, her family confirmed.
â€œIt is true that she passed away,â€ a family member said.
The family member further added that â€œshe was travelling in thepassenger seat, and the car slid.â€
Baloch, 20, was one of the finest strikers for Pakistan womenâ€™s footballteam. SheÂ represented the country at the South Asian FootballFederation Women Football Championship 2014 Â in Islamabad, whichwas the last international event that Pakistan womenâ€™s team competedin.
Earlier, Baloch became the first Pakistani woman to score a hat-trickabroad during her stint in Maldives. She also made the score sheet inPakistanâ€™s 4-1 victory over Bhutan in 2014 SAFF Womenâ€™s Championship.
The 20-year-old played for the Balochistan United FC as a forward in thedomestic circuit.
