SRINAGAR: Salvation Movement chairman Zafar Akbar was denied permission to meat jail mates in Kot Bhalwal. Wednesday Zafar Akbar along with party leaders including Javed Ahmad & Nazir Ahmad visited Kot Bhalwal jail but authorities didn’t allow him to meet detainees.
Zafar Akbar in an issued statement expressed his deep grief over the death of pellet victims Waseem Mushtaq and said that it is heart wrenching that after battling for five months, he embraced martyrdom, Zafar Akbar while expressing his sympathy and condolences with bereaved family said that though this lethal weapon has been declared as prohibited for human society but state rulers for the lust of power and to appease their masters are using this against innocent people.
Zafar Akbar paid his rich tributes to Capt. Nadeem and Dr Turabi on their anniversary and said that they were brave hearts and we are indebted for their exemplary services martyrdom for freedom movement.
Zafar Akbar expressed his dismay over the Kunan Poshpora episode and said that those involved in this heinous crime are roaming free and state rulers never took serious steps to file or register reports against those involved in this gruesome act .
