World reaction over horrific situation in Kashmir disappointing: Sardar Masood

Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times)  AJK president Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has expressed his utter dismay over weak reaction of international community on the horrific situation in occupied Kashmir.
Talking to leaders of Hurriyat conference Mushtaq- ul- Islam and Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, he said that India is trampling under his feet international norms and laws in the occupied territory but global community is silent. He said that people of Pakistan will continue to prick the con-sons of global community and both governments will continue their political, moral and political support to the oppressed people of occupied valley. The AJK president also assured the Hurriyat delegation that AJK government will resolve problems being faced by the refugees crossed into AJK due to Indian oppression. He said that sustenance allowance of refugees and their rehabilitation would be priority of the government. Earlier the Hurriyat delegation told president that as many as 2100 families of refugees are residing in rented houses in different parts of Muzaffarabad city and they cannot afford their living with meager allowance. They demanded free piece of land to construct their houses. The president assured them that he will visit the refugees’ camps soon to get familiarized with their problems. The Hurriyat delegation also stressed for enhanced awareness of Kashmir issue and Kashmir freedom moment among the youths of Azad Kashmir. They said that it is need of the hour to use social media for the purpose. They also called for Kashmir freedom moment as part of the curriculum in the primary classes in Azad Kashmir so that new generation could get information about the sacrifices rendered by people of Kashmir.
