Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) anti corruption unit staff has raided a tea store of NaranKari Bazaar Rawalpindi and apprehended the owner of store for selling substandard and fake tea under famous brand names of Islamabad Tea and Tapal Tea.
Muhammad Majeed, from Islamabad Tea and Tapal Tea filed an application to deputy director of FIA anti-corruption unit that fake and substandard tea is being sold out in the market under names of famous brands in Rawalpindi.
A team of Anti-corruption unit headed by Inspector Raja Wajid conducted a raid on Kashmir Tea store of NaranKari Bazaar where samples of tea were tested by company experts which were declared as fake.
Officials sealed the whole stock and took the owner into its custody, registered a case against him and started an investigation.
