According to press release Gholam Mujtaba, Chairman Pakistan Policy Institute, says Track-2 diplomacy serves as an effective tool in our role as a non-state player in meeting global challenges of the 21st century. “We have succeeded in bridging gaps between the United States and Pakistan relationship, and would continue to serve those interests. It does not oppose cordial relationship between nations, but would object to human rights violations, and covert operations violating the principles of justice and rule of law.†Initially, the parliament will hold a session at a recognised University of Pakistan with apolitical objectives. There will be at least 50, or a maximum 100 Members of the Shadow Parliament.
