LAHORE: Falah e Insaniat Foundation (FIF) has started 5-days professional rescue course. Course is being organized at Rescue Training Institute, Wapda Town. Volunteers from Punjab, Sindh, KPK and Azad Kashmir have participated course. They are trained about rescue in flood, earthquake, accidents and other emergency situations. Qualified instructors are delivering lectures through modern equipments, on different topics like firefighting, first aid in accidents, search and rescue etc. In case of rains and floods, Special training about Swimming, boat driving and shifting affectees to safe place has also been included in the course.
According to Chairman FIF Hafiz Abdul Rauf, “Our aim is to provide rescue training to 1 lakh people in whole country. We have delivered Rescue Training to 48 thousand people. Rescue training workshops are also being held in each district of Pakistan including Azad Kashmir.”
