SUI/DERA BUGTI: Frontier Corps on Saturday seized arms and ammunition from militant hideouts in Sui and Dera Bugti, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
FC troops together with intelligence personnel raided hideouts of banned militant outfits in Arjan Nala and Darenjan Nala areas, the ISPR said in a statement.The raids came as part of operation Raddul Fasaad – a comprehensive military campaign aimed at wiping out terrorists of all hues and colors from the country.Paramilitary personnel, during the raids, seized sizeable quantity of arms and ammunition from militant safe houses, read the statement.
These included RPG launcher with five RPG-7 rounds, four mortar shells, two land mines, four grenades, 170 pressure buttons and other equipment that was stashed for subversive activities, it added.
