Rawalpindi: Over 70 Government High Schools are functioning without the computer and science laboratories in Rawalpindi division. The students of affected schools are facing immense difficulties in attaining education and they have lagged behind in educational activities in comparison to other schools. Punjab government has sought lists of these schools from District Education Authority . The documents revealed that 365 girls and boys high schools are functioning in Rawalpindi division, while over 70 schools are not having facilities of Science and Computer labs. Meanwhile, now the Punjab Government has summoned names and number of students enrolled in these schools. The Majority of affected girls and boys schools are from Murree, Gujar Khan and Kahuta. Rawalpindi Education Department spokesperson said that a list is being developed of the affected schools, which would be forwarded to Punjab Education Department till April.
